<< back to Events and News The Jill Raitt Opportunities for Excellence Fund in Religious Studies In spring, 2001, the department solicited contributions to the Jill Raitt Fund for Opportunities for Excellence in honor of Jill's contributions to the department since its founding in 1981. We received a wonderful response from friends and graduates and in spring 2003 the fund reached $10,000, which is the amount at which university endowments begin paying out the income that accrues. You can still contribute to the endowment and help ensure that the vision of the Raitt Opportunities for Excellence Fund is realized. If you would like to make a gift to this fund or if you would like to complete your pledge at this time, please send the contribution to the department office.
