<< back to Faculty Justin Arft Adjunct Instructor Though my primary interests in religious studies are gospel literature, early Christianity, and textual criticism, I have a wide array of interests pertaining to the teaching of world religions and theory of religion. I am also very interested in the role of technology in the classroom and hope to incorporate elements of documentary film into the classroom. Religion in the public is also a burgeoning interest of mine that I will be applying towards upcoming work with the Center on Religion and the Professions. I received both my AB and MA in religious studies from the University of Missouri and am very proud and excited to teach for the department. During the summers I serve as faculty for the Missouri Scholars Academy here in Columbia where I teach courses in religious studies. I also am currently a student of classical languages in preparation for further degree work. When not serving as an academic, I am the Operations Coordinator for the True/False Film Festival and have been known to play various musical instruments in my spare time. |
