Research Interests:

I am interested in the ways that the intersections of religion, race and, gender are constructed and expressed in US culture in the form of monsters. My dissertation is focused on monsters that police the boundaries of Whiteness, namely, the Night Rider, the Klansman, the Night Doctor, and the American zombie.
